Lamentations 5:14-16

¹⁴ Our^[a] elders have ceased ruling^[b] at the gate;
    our^[c] young men have abandoned^[d] their music.

¹⁵ The joy of our hearts has ceased,
    and our dancing has turned into dirges.

¹⁶ The crown has fallen from our head—
    woe to us, because we have sinned!
